Review: Southlane, Hong Kong

Nestled in the vibrant neighbourhoods of Shek Tong Tsui and Robinson road in Midlevels, Southlane stands out as a cafe for health conscious foodies. These quaint cafes exude a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely brunch or a cozy afternoon retreat. Having visited both branches, the one in Robinson road delivers exceptional service but the food quality is the same.

The star of the menu, is the Vegan Sweet Potato Pancakes, a delightful twist on the classic breakfast staple. Topped with raspberry peanut butter, candied banana, toasted organic coconut flakes, flaxseeds, and maple syrup, it's comforting, satisfying and guilt-free.  Southlane's dedication to sustainability and health is also reflected in their completely diary free drinks menu!

These vegan sweet potato pancakes are a must-try for anyone visiting or living in Hong Kong. They are a testament to the cafe's ability to create dishes that are both indulgent and nourishing.
